Our Store & Makerspace
Step into our cozy shop, where you’ll find a curated collection of local art, premium vintage sewing machines (including electric and treadle-powered models), and handcrafted quilts. Our space is designed to inspire creativity and provide hands-on opportunities for crafters of all kinds. We have room for up to 15 sewing machines, and our workshops accommodate about 10 people for a personalized and interactive experience.
Vintage Sewing Machines & Workshops
Curios and Notions specializes in vintage sewing machines—both treadle-powered and electric. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious beginner, we invite you to experience the charm and function of these classic machines. Our classes cater to all skill levels, with workshops designed for 10 people to ensure personalized instruction. We provide comfortable workstations for up to 15 machines, so everyone gets the space they need to create.
Local Art & Sustainable Crafting
We proudly support local artisans, offering a variety of locally made goods that showcase the craftsmanship and creativity of the Gays Mills area. We also prioritize sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and packaging to reduce waste and promote sustainable crafting.
